Friday, June 22, 2001 Okay, thanks to Tracy I now have 753 pics! Well on our way, albeit slowly to the 1000 pics of Dirk. Also, a little bird told me this morning (aka The Rev) That this weeks National Enquirer has an article on old Blue Eyes. Picked it up and it's true. I hope to get a scan and have it up on my site by the end of the weekend. So pick up this week's copy when you get groceries this weekend (second to last page if you want to read it in line while checking out). or if you're too chicken....Click here for a scan of the article. I also have a favor to ask....what would you like to see on my site (besides naked pics of Dirk). Tuesday, May 15, 2001 Holy procrastination Batman! Well better late than never, I've been spending my time crawling the web trying to bring you more and more pics of Dirk for the 1000 pics of Dirk project. Okay, actually my friends are (the ones that ~are~ real) so a big thank you to all of them. Another friend of mine has been busy finding webcams across Montana. Hey we all need a hobby right? Check them out < Click here >, especially Old Faithful! Very impressive. I have't put a link up anywhere else on the site (no it's not a test to see who's reading this, but thank you just the same) but for a review of how Cahoots did at Taos and a few pics (oh btw, they're in the gallery too). Monday, April 16, 2001 Hope you all got your taxes done. I apologize for not making alot of changes to the site. First I want everyone!! Everyone yes you!! To visit the newest Dirk site on the block, Dirk Benedict Central. Keep watching this site, not only because it's the sister site to this one but because great things are coming GREAT THINGS! Friday, February 02, 2001 Lots of responses to the contest!! If you haven't entered please do so. Updated the dirk appearances...Dirk wants people to know those dates are tenative!! Depends on what his kids are doing etc. Hey we all have priorities, so before you purchase those non-refundable tickets because to verify he's going. If you're going on the cruise and need a roommate adn you are over the age of 30 please email me I think I know someone who's been wanting to talk to you about roomming...and no it's not Dirk..get your mind out of the gutter please!! Thursday, January 25, 2001 Attention Attention with all this buzz of the cruise and Vegas and listening to my friends (and the words that come out of my mouth). I've launced a contest (in cooperation of the DBIFC). "How far would you go to meet Dirk?" or How far have you gone? Entries will be judged in march by you (Yes You!) The Best entries will win an extrememly rare and limited Dirk Benedict Anonymous TShirt and the title of being "Dirk's No 1 Stalker". Saturday, December 23, 2000 Merry Christmas!!! Be sure to check out our version of a Dirkafied Christmas, and read Dirk's Holiday message to his fans. As a little present, I created a search engine to search for the articles in the library you want. Just put in some keywords and watch just the articles you want to come up. Finally, some little Dirk addicted elves found me some more pictures. While some people were betting I'd make 400 by Christmas. Sorry, you all loose, I don't think I'm even going to make it by the years end. S'okay, can make it one of my New Year's resolution for 2001. This is probably my last update for the rest of the year (unless I get my 400 pics) But it's been an incredible year with this site and I hope with your help we can make this site even better for 2001. Monday, December 18, 2000 I've been stealthly fixing and updating my site so I can bring you what I hope will be some cool features in the future. "Features in the future" - say that 10 times fast. Dirk sent a holiday message to his fans on the Dirk Benedict mailing list. If you haven't you should join it's on egroups! Updated the Parade of Websites to start including Dirk related sites and friends of Dirk. So if you have a site, please email me the URL I'd be very happy to include it. Still searching for more pics, along with a bunch of other people. Be sure to check out some of the comments. It appears even I am not immune to the infamous Ray's sense of humor. As one famous character once said, "I love it when a plan comes together." Hmm..Gee...wonder who said that? Only 6 more shopping days till Christmas!! Hope you all have atleast started!! |

Sunday, December 03, 2000 Thanks to my buddy Dave in Montana, he took a 360 view of Bigfork complete with snow and christmas ornaments. I do believe it's beginning to look alot like Christmas!! Still working on the goal fo 300 pics by the end of the year, so if you have some hidden in the recesses of your harddrive, I am taking donations! Well gotta go write Santa .... Sunday, November 19, 2000 Happy Holidays. Okay okay, so we haven't even got to Thanksgiving yet. Hey, if Kmart can start in September with their Christmas stuff, I figure I can do it today (while I have the time). In the holiday season, some fellow addicts (me included) wrote some Christmas Carols that have been Dirkified. It's all done tongue and cheek. If you want to do one, you got some time between your christmas shopping so drop me an email with your carol and I'd be happy to put it up. Saturday, November 18, 2000 Boy my little site gets alot of traffic from all over the world, it's actually rather exciting. When I first built the site, I didn't think anyone would come. I've updated the library with some articles you won't find anywhere! I swear..a little Appreciation Society Exclusive. Back in the 80's Dirk used to have an International Fan Club and once a year they published these really cool newsletters. Oh those were the days. I reprinted a few of the articles, and there is so much more and hopefully over time I'll get more up for you guys. Also if you've never been to the Anonymous Club story section, there is a very funny story by "me". Check it out, and bring lots of tissues cause you're going to need them. Plus there are some new pics in the gallery, some right from these newsletters. Enjoy!! |

(don't worry, the other one will still work so you don't have to change your bookmarks, unless you want). Lots of activity on the story/message boards, give them a read. |

I hope to be able to expand it with the some help from from friends and hopefully the Production Company. The premiere for the movie is this Tuesday, Nov. 7th. So if you're wondering why it takes to blessed long to go through the tour, now you know. Sunday, September 24, 2000 These are turning into weekly updates. First a little note of explanation for those looking for the "Parade of Websites". Something unforseen happened, some loyal fans of another site came in and messed with the numbers. I guess they didn't quite undestand this wasn't a contest it was more to provide positive criticism and comments. While I don't have a problem with them saying awful things about this site and messing with it's numbers, I did have a problem with the fact they marked some of the sites low. It's not fair to them, there are a lot of great sites out there honoring Dirk Benedict and we all work very hard on our sites. So I took it down to be reengineered and to be thought about some more. If you care to talk about it please email me at webmaster@millady.com On a happier note, I've created our verson of internet postcards. So now you can send a postcard from any picture in our gallery, also you have the option of choosing one of the very funny captions you all have left. (Oh if someone knows who Ray, Jay or RayJay is tell them to come back! I miss their comments). Also, I've added a few more behind the scene features, such as the site will remember who you are if you post a review or leave a comment in the Management Office, or share your story with us. Come people I know you have a story to tell. This site more than just pictures, it's a sounding board for all of you. Let's start making some noise. I've expanded the Macrobiotic section. If you have any links that I don't have please email them to me, I'd be happy to put them up. Hopefully (time permitting of course) I will automate that so you can just submit your link. Finally, I just wanted to say that this site is for all of us fans. I hope I've made it fun and interesting for you guys. If there is anything you like to see, or got some ideas on how to improve a section I'm more than willing to listen. I want to make this a site we all can enjoy and be entertained by. Saturday, September 09, 2000 Well first there's a new web address, so be sure to update your bookmarks!!!! I also put up a few more pics, courtesy of Michelle's Unoffical Dirk Benedict Site. Also, I've made some changes to the thumbnail page. Now you can view the pics of Dirk by decade. To be completely honest I guessed at some of the decades the pics should be in, so if you know one that's wrong, get the pic no and email me and tell me what decade it should be in. I've also made some technical changes that won't affect your viewing pleasure at all, but in a nutshell they will help me update the site a little faster - I hope. Also, I've added a few links that were found on www.millady.com. These links I felt were very relevant to Dirk, such as macrobiotics. That's about it, just remember to update your bookmarks and look for updates in the future. Now back to the ATeam Marathon on TVLand.... |

Also added is a 12 step program of Dirk Benedict to help you addicts with the day to living of life. I also launched the Beta version of reviews. Thursday, August 17, 2000 Okay so I'm not updating the site as much as I'd like (but even I get a life sometimes). So let's get started.... The Dirk Benedict Anonymous Club is now the Dirk Benedict Anonymous Club and Appreciation Society. Plus it's now a member of the Dirk Benedict Web Ring. The reason for the name change is that yes all the addicts out there need an Anonymous Club but that had such a negative ring to it, so to give it some positive (ying and yang) I've added the Appreciation Society. After all we do appreciate the joy he brings to our lives. It was brought to my attention that I had a very disorganized site. Okay that's one person's opinion but for every 1 person there are 10 more behind them. So in the spirit of organization (and a suggestion made to me by a friend) I've added a thumbnail view of the gallery. So you can see all your favorite Dirk pics. Don't forget to leave a caption, alot of people have been leaving them and some are quite amusing so leave one and join in the fun! Also there are some new pics there as well (big thank you to Silverstar and Paxiljunki for their generous contributions). A major change is that the Anonymous Club adopted a mascot (a big dating game style kiss to Paxiljunki for her art skills in tailoring the mascot for the site). So that's about it....the creative gallery needs contributions so let's get going people, I know you're all creative!!! Plus leave a story for your other addicts of if you really want to be anonymous I mean after all it is an anonymous club, you can leave your message ...anonymously!! So remember eat more grains, chew your rice, wear your sunscreen and just sit back and relax. |
